MICHAELA LONGDEN as Nina
Michaela is a recent graduate of the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts who is already making a name for herself as an actress of considerable charm, intelligence and talent. She has appeared as Squealer in Animal Farm, Miranda in The Tempest (Oldham Coliseum) and Hen in Cannibals (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester) under the direction of Michael Longhurst.

Sean is a physical theatre artist and rock climber who has created and performed his own brand of innovative dance/physical theatre work internationally. King has worked with numerous dance companies, DJs and filmmakers including Bert Van Gorp (Belgium), Sean Tuan John (Wales) and Seven Sisters group. He cocurated Danceweek at Battersea Arts Centre, Skinshakers at the Purcell Rooms a mixed bill of dance, live music, animation and digital film and programmed the Bristol EDF Energy Harbourside Dance Stage. He is known for his unique creative development training sessions and his distinctive brand of urban moves.

Liz Postlethwaite (Director)
Liz is a noted director of innovative contemporary theatre. Her directing credits include a number of productions for the Library Theatre Company Manchester including: The Red Shoes, Was It Something I Said? and The Magnificent Tale Of Emily Law And Arturo The Waterboy (Library Theatre Manchester) the heritage lottery funded Memories of Mr. Steels Garden (Bluecoat, Liverpool Transitions Festival), Resonance Of Seclusion (Touring UK) and Stars Are Fire (Monkeywood Theatre – touring). She is currently touring How Do You See Me commission by London College of Fashion.
Julie Amanda Bokowiec (Writer & Producer)
Julie is a performance artist working across areas of theatre, writing, music and interactive digital media. As a writer and director she has created original works for the Lawrence Batley Theatre in association with Opera North and Trestle Theatre Company, and as been commissioned by Royal Theatre Bath, Harrogate International Festival, Bradford Theatre Trust, ICA London and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival among others. Her recent stage plays have been short-listed and nominated for a variety of awards including the 20th Meyer-Whitworth Award (Royal National Theatre) for The Last Cuckoo (Lawrence Batley Theatre), Punch (Soho Theatre) shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award, Toby-Dog-Savage (Tristrum Bates Theatre) for the Bruntwood Award, and The Red Room (Canal Café Theatre) jury nominated for the London Whitbread Fringe Theatre Award.
Tim Tolkien (Set Design/Sculpture)
Tim is an award-winning metal sculptor with a range of large-scale public art commissions to his credit including the redesign of Lea Hall railway station commissioned by Centro, Birmingham and Walk On commissioned by Walsall Health Authority. As Castle Vale lottery funded artist in residence Tim delivering five public art projects that resulted in a number of permanently sited public art works. Tim’s sculptures have been shown in arts shows and galleries internationally. In 2010 Tim created the massive Sentinel Spitfire sculpture on the Heartlands roundabout commissioned by Heartlands and Birmingham City Council, Tim also created the Cannock Chase cycle trail sculpture sponsored by Giant Cycles. Tim is the great-nephew of J. R. R. Tolkien, author of The Lord of the Rings and in currently under commission to create a memorial sculpture to be sited at Merton College Oxford. For Lost Boy Racer Tim has been commissioned to create a set made entirely from bicycle parts.
Mike Lock (Lighting Designer)
Mike is the Chief LX at Opera North. Mike trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in stage-management & technical theatre. He has worked on and lit shows covering most forms of theatre. For Opera North he has re-lit over 50 operas including the multi award winning Peter Grimes and Pinocchio. Mike has worked on a number of Julie Bokowiec’s productions designing lighting for A Picture of Dorian Grey, Alice and Street Scene and most recently The Last Cuckoo.
Mark Bokowiec (Composer)
Mark is a composer and electronics engineer. His commissions include various interactive instruments and a new performance work Cyborg Dreaming for the Science Museum London, Tricorder (Ensemble QTR), Zero In The Bone for trombonist Barry Webb and variety of sound installations including A Passage To India (Wakefield City Art Gallery) now in the gallery’s public collection. Mark’s recent fixed media work AMERA was selected as a finalist for the prestigious Arts Electroniques des Concours internationaux de Bourges award.

Natalie Bellingham (Participation at Harrogate & Wakefield)
Natalie trained at Bretton Hall and has since gone on to study Le Coq in Barcelona, mime and clowning with Peta Lily and John Wright. She is a founder member of Uncanny Theatre a company that make absurd performances about serious things - their performances are often site-specific and always surprising.
